The Theater Bielefeld is with around 500 performances in drama, dance and musical theater one of the largest theaters in the region. The three-line house determined not only the local variety of programs but enjoys with his versatile game plan oftenregional attention far beyond the borders of eastern Westphalia addition.

The Kunsthalle Bielefeld is the German and international art of the 20th and 21Century art. As an architectural monument, it combines the function of a museum with its own collection and an exhibition building with four annual major temporary exhibitions on the art of Classical Modernism, German Expressionism and the present.

Built by the great American architect Philip Johnson in the years 1966-68, it is the first evidence of its architecture in Europe and one of the most famous museums in the postwar period.
